Gyratory Roller Solutions Issues RFQ for GRolls1000 Pilot Plant Unit
Gyratory Roller Solutions has reached a major milestone with the release of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the design and manufacture of our upscaled GRolls1000 unit.

The GRolls1000 is a 3–5 tph pilot-scale machine that will play a critical role in demonstrating the technology under representative operating conditions. The RFQ not only seeks a qualified partner to deliver the design and construction of the unit but also aims to establish a long-term partnership through collaboration and potential co-investment within the mining sector.

This milestone represents the culmination of more than six years of research and development. During this time, over 300 tests have been conducted and more than three tonnes of material processed through the laboratory-scale GRolls400 unit, generating the technical foundation required to progress toward pilot-scale implementation.
The transition from laboratory testing to pilot plant deployment marks a significant step along the GRolls® commercialisation pathway, with the next 12 months focused on scale-up, validation, and integration into broader process flowsheets.

This achievement also acknowledges the contributions of those who have supported the development of the technology. In particular, we honour the late Chris Kelsey, inventor of the GRolls® technology, whose vision continues to drive its development and future impact.
