The GRolls400 prototype embodies the future of comminution technology, offering numerous advantages over conventional systems. It features reduced energy consumption, the capability to process both wet and dry feed material, elimination of media, and a low-complexity design with a smaller physical footprint. Additionally, it significantly lowers capital costs, making it an attractive option for industry stakeholders.
This milestone is a significant step forward in our commercialisation efforts, led by Tony Stevens, and supports ongoing research programs, including Mark Drechsler’s PhD studies and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Enabling Eco-Efficient Beneficiation of Minerals (COEMinerals).
